WHEN EDISON MADE HIS FIRST LIGHTBULB,
WE’D ALREADY BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 10 YEARS

And by the time Carl Benz unveiled the first automobile, our printing presses were running at full throttle.

CA Andersson was founded in 1869 by Carl August Andersson, a member of the Swedish parliament, who saw great potential in the growing printing industry. The company expanded quickly and was an early adopter of new technology. For instance, we were one of the very first businesses with a telephone!

We cherish our proud history, but always keep our eyes firmly on the future. In the past 10 years, we’ve undergone more changes than we did in the first 100.

Having entered the 21st century purely as a printing business, we have now evolved into a media house with expertise in both analog and digital media. When we started out 150 years ago, printing presses were the heavy artillery in the battle of thoughts and ideas. Today, every conceivable form of technology serves as a weapon for disseminating thoughts, ideas and messages on multiple fronts. We intend to stay right on the front line, just as we were in 1869 when we installed our first printing press in our Malmö office.
